About the Role
In this opportunity as a Senior Fraud Analyst, you will:


  • Review and analyze data (protected and sensitive) involving Government Programs such as Medicaid, Unemployment, SNAP, TANF, WIC, and Tax and Revenue
  • Research, review, and analyze criminal intelligence and draft intelligence reports for client review
  • Mine and aggregate data to identify trends/opportunities for enhancements or additions to the Thomson Reuter suite of tools
  • Work with Development and Analyst teams to design, review, and assess analytics leveraged in TR's suite of tools supporting the detection, investigation, and enforcement of fraud in government programs
  • Liaison with Government teams of investigators, analysts, and auditors
  • Effectively communicate with appropriate outside authorities and client staff via phone, email, and video with the ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner
  • Present findings in a clear and concise presentation format including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

    About You
    You're a fit for the role of Senior Fraud Analyst if you:

    • At least five years of experience in the realm of fraud prevention, detection, investigation
    • Training specializing in Criminal Intelligence Analysis, Criminal investigations, Fraud, White Collar Crime
    • A Bachelor's Degree in criminal justice, healthcare, business, government administration or closely related field
    • Experience working with Medicaid and/or Medicare, Unemployment Insurance, Welfare and Eligibility, or Revenue and Taxation programs OR experience in Fraud/White Collar Crime Investigation OR experience in Criminal Intelligence
    • Advanced knowledge and skills utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Knowledge of open-source research methods (public records data, social media, etc), fraud detection techniques, and third party, private data sources used for fraud detection
    • Experience utilizing visual analytics or network analysis programs such as Visio and Analyst Notebook
