LHH (formerly Accounting Principals) is partnered with a large company in Plano, Texas looking to add a Commercial Collections Specialist to their growing team. This will be an onsite role for training and is paying between $55,000-$60,000 contingent on experience. Apply now if your background fits the below criteria!

Job Duties Include:

The Collections Specialist will manage an assigned commercial portfolio. As a part of the Collections team, the Collections Specialist will review assigned accounts to identify and select delinquent accounts for collection, take and apply payments, and prepare reports on current findings/actions taken to for assigned portfolio.

• Reconcile accounts to rectify payment discrepancies and cash application errors
• Consult with agents and customers to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactions. May correspond via phone or email
• Contact customers for payment of past due accounts, resolution of discrepancies and other obstacles hindering payment of invoices
• Prepare open invoice reports for customers and agents
• Research deductions and obtain information from customers
• Prepare adjustment paperwork for rate discrepancies or to move invoices between customers.
• Advise Collections Mgr. of red flags such as cash flow issues, customer finance concerns, etc.
• Provide customers with invoice and POD copies upon request
• Special projects as assigned
