Job Description:

As a Director of Valuations at Fidelity Investments, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the valuation of assets across our global investment portfolio. Located in the heart of Boston, you will ensure accurate and effective valuation processes that support investment strategies and comply with regulatory standards. This leadership role involves strategic oversight of the Valuation team, implementing advanced valuation methodologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance value extraction and financial reporting. Provide leadership and direction to the Valuations team, ensuring accuracy in the appraisals and reporting. Develop and maintain robust valuation models in line with the latest financial and industry standards. Collaborate with other departments such as Risk Management, Compliance, and Portfolio Management to align valuation processes with overall business strategy. Supervise periodical valuation reviews and audits to ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation. Communicate complex valuation issues and their implications to senior management and external stakeholders. Stay abreast of market trends and continuously improve methodologies and technologies used in valuation. Expertise in financial modeling and quantitative analysis Strong leadership and personnel management skills Excellent communication and presentation skills In-depth understanding of market trends and financial regulations Ability to synthesize complex information and make grounded decisions Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred
