Job Description Job Description Position Function - Under the
direction of the Recreation Supervisor, responsible for assisting
in the coordination, monitoring and instruction of the summer day
camp programs, activities, events, and athletics. This is a
seasonal, part time position from May 26, 2026 – August 15, 2026.
Working hours are Monday – Friday, 7am – 6pm, flexible scheduling
available. Benefits include a free membership to The Keller Pointe
while employed. Essential Duties% of Performance Provides
high-quality educational and recreational opportunities and
enjoyable experiences for camp participants. Assists in the
coordination of the summer day camps by opening, cleaning and
securing the facility. Supervises camp participants and ensures
their safety, development, grown, skill achievement, and general
well-being. Greet parents and children by name when able, while
creating a welcoming and safe environment for the children.
Providing positive and enthusiastic customer service to all members
and guests. 45% Properly clean, disinfect, and maintain all
recreation equipment and play surfaces. Effectively communicate
with children, parents/guardians and the public. Organizes and
leads various small and large group activities. Assists in
maintaining accurate program records, including incident reports
and daily attendance.25% Attend all scheduled employee meetings.
Supervise children properly and respond immediately during
emergencies, including administering first aid as necessary.
Mediates any campers' disputes. Maintains constant surveillance of

Plans.EnvironmentDuties are generally performed inside and outside,
and indoor/outdoor pool environment. Possible exposure to dust,
mold, pool chemicals, humidity and wet environments, and
electricity. Duties may also require prolonged periods of standing,
walking and reaching with hands and
arms.Requirements/Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesHigh School diploma or
equivalent certification. Some related work experience supervising
children preferred, but not required.Must be 18 years of
age.Current lnfant/Child/Adult CPR and First Aid with AED
certification from Jeff Ellis & Associates, American Red Cross, or
American Heart Association required or ability to obtain upon
employment offer.Basic computer and phone skills, ability to carry
out detailed written or oral instructions, independent problem
solving, and ability to connect with a variety of people.Must
complete the Red Cross Swim Test upon hire, requiring the ability
to swim 25 meters adequately, tread water for a minute, and climb
out of the pool without using a ladder.Work requires the ability to
maintain a positive atmosphere, and if necessary, use positive
disciplinary techniques.Work requires the ability to handle a range
of children from 6 years - 12 years old.Work requires the ability
to read, write and comprehend instructions, correspondence and
memos.Work requires the ability to demonstrate professional public
relations skills, effective interpersonal skills and ability to
effectively present information in one-on-one and small group
situations.Must pass all post offer pre-employment processes and/or
procedures, to include but not limited to Drug Screen, Physical
Examination, and applicable Background Checks.
