1750 Tysons (12023), United States of America, McLean, Virginia Forescout Engineer The Forescout Platform Engineer will be responsible for supporting our enterprise network infrastructure, regional hubs and cloud environments. To include daily intake as well as major projects. Responsibilities include enforcement of cyber security standards, Management of Forescout appliances, automation of security services, and deployment of security solutions. What you'll do: Design, implement, and maintain high quality NAC Infrastructure solutions Support enterprise network infrastructure, regional hubs and cloud environments. Enforce cyber security standards, automation of security services, and deployment of security solutions. Work collaboratively across teams spanning multiple time zones What we're looking for: Candidate must demonstrate comprehensive understanding of NAC technology, illustrate extremely solid technical knowledge of products at a large enterprise level Previous experience as a NAC engineer; designing, building and supporting enterprise computing platforms and systems Demonstrate proficient knowledge of L2 and L3 networks Solid understanding of Cloud / Virtual Compute platforms and their supporting infrastructure Solid understanding of High Availability strategies Familiarity with the concepts of infrastructure as code, test driven development and automated deployment of infrastructure solutions Strong scripting and automation skills in various languages (such as Python, Ruby, BASH, Powershell, etc.) Good communicator who is willing to share and teach amongst peers Willingness to update and contribute to living engineering documentation Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills Hands on experience with Cisco ISE Hands on experience with Forescout technologies Ability to work on high level projects and low level network changes. Good to have: knowledge on IDS/IPS, Fabric technologies, zero trust, general network concepts and routing protocols Good to have certifications: AWS, CCNA, CCNP, CNSA, CSAE, CISSP Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification At least 6 years of experience with network solutions, VPNs, and network design At least 5 years of experience with Forescout or NAC At least 3 years of Forescout design and engineering experience At least 2 year of experience with 802.1x/NAC Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 8 years of experience with network hardware and software 3 years of Forescout CounterAct administrator experience 3 years of experience in Jira, Service Now, Infoblox and Snowflake 2 years hands on experience with Cisco IDS/IPS, ISE, etc 2 years scripting and automation (Python, Ruby, BASH, Powershell) 1 years of experience with Aruba WLAN 1 years experience device posturing or IT/OT devices AWS certification Forescout certification (FSSA or FSCE preferred) CISSP certification Forescout Certified Administrator At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
