Overview of Position:
Supports both Controls related R&D product development as well as operations/production needs performing the following duties:
Description of Duties/Responsibilities/Requirements:
R&D
--- Develop new product using 4Front specifications for new product development
--- Coordinates information between departments, including engineering, purchasing, construction, and maintenance
--- Establishes the baseline budget and schedule for the project
--- Analyzes project problems and recommends corrective action that has the least impact to cost and schedule
--- Document all information related to product use, costs, and operational implementation related to all phases of product design and rollout
--- Establish rollout plans and implement with operations team
--- Prepare presentations for customers both internal and external
Operations
--- Develop panel designs for both standard and master/combo panels including schematic drawings, bills of material and wiring tables.
--- Develop electrical component programs.
--- Develop manuals with aid of entire staff specifically around electrical installation and troubleshooting.
--- Look for opportunities to take cost out of project and improve overall quality and competitiveness
--- Interfaces with internal teams and distributors to explain product functionality and troubleshooting techniques for operation and maintenance of 4Front equipment.
--- Troubleshoot both remotely and on site when issues arise with product
--- Travel to job site for implementation and training as required for project.
--- Other duties may be assigned.

IQualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential
duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability
required.
--- Requires education generally equivalent to a bachelors' degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Electrical Technology
--- Requires three to five years of experience
--- AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical and AutoLisp
--- Basic programming skills to include PLC, SCADA and HMI.
--- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills
--- Requires the ability to function as a team member and contribute to group goals
--- Requires the ability to use a variety of office equipment such as spreadsheet and word processing software, calculator, telephone, facsimile machine, photocopier, and a computer printer.
