An ADP Client, Orbis Systems is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team in Carrollton, TX.
About the Role:Orbis Systems is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their engineering team. This role will report to the Engineering and Operations Manager. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for electrical design to create solutions based on customer needs. The candidate will follow a schedule and participate in project planning. The candidate will work with cross-functional organizations to design and validate the Test System, including validation at the production site.
Ideally this candidate will be goal oriented, energetic, and committed individual with a strong background in automation design to join our diverse team. A successful candidate will be a good team player and possess a "can do" mentality. When necessary, the candidate will travel to supplier and customer facilities.

Orbis Systems has offices in Finland, USA, China, and India. They currently have an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer in their Carrollton, Texas location. They are looking for a goal oriented, energetic, and committed individual with a strong background in automation design to join their diverse team. The successful candidate will be a good team player and possess a "can do" mentality.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:--- Design products to assure quality, timely deliveries, continuing profitability--- Work closely with customers on specifications--- Prepare and present project designs--- Create documentation, proposals, instructions, and other supporting documentation as required by internal and external customers--- Interface with customer engineering departments to ensure that products meet and exceed customer expectations--- Perform other duties as assigned or required by Management
Ideal Candidate:--- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering--- 3-10 years of Electrical Engineering experience in the telecommunications industry and measurements--- Good understanding of High Voltage AC and DC electrical components--- AC Power Knowledge and design experience is a must--- Experience with electric motors and motor controller systems--- Have a knowledge of electrical building standards--- Excellent skills in utilizing instruments and measurement used in the telecommunications industry--- SW experience with C# is a plus--- AutoCAD experience is a plus--- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and statistical problem solving--- Fluent spoken and written English
