Utilize demonstrated experience architecting, designing, prototyping, coding and supporting the product validation and manufacturing of wireless connectivity options for embedded systems and devices -Essential Job Functions

• Architect, design and deliver wireless connectivity subsystems for embedded platforms running on lower-powered SoC embedded systems
• Participate as a key individual coding contributor on a significant portion of the wireless subsystems
• Participate as a subject matter expert in wireless connectivity and wireless software design technologies, approaches and implementation for embedded systems
• Perform technical analysis of product features, recommending best-practice technical solutions
• On-going interaction with applicable development teams to ensure the architectural vision is being appropriately implemented
• Participate as a major technical point of contact with various suppliers of key wireless system components
• Participate in the product definition, especially around the aspects of the embedded components, attempting to resolve ambiguity into concrete technical proposals -Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 7+ years of demonstrable experience in implementing wireless subsystems
  • Bachelor of Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with embedded frameworks, including Linux and various RTOS
  • Experience with C and C++
  • Desirable to have prior experience with the TI Sitara family of processors
  • Experience with the SiLabs Blue Gecko family of wireless co-processors
  • Extensive experience with aspects of developing the wireless components of an embedded device, including BSP, general co-processor device lifecycle, firmware updating, radio stacks including Bluetooth, Bluetooth Mesh, Wi-Fi and others
  • Experience with bootloaders for the wireless co-processors, including implementations of SecureBoot
  • Experience with other connectivity interfaces such as SPI, i2c, UART
  • Experience with debugging kernel, OS and application software via both user-level IDEand hardware-based JTAG interfaces
  • Desirable to have experience deploying production-grade solutions at-edge platforms
