(Mechanical Construction) Position Overview The Director of
Engineering (Mechanical Construction) will lead and oversee all
mechanical engineering projects within the construction division.
This role is responsible for ensuring that engineering designs and
implementations meet industry standards and client requirements
while adhering to budget and timelines. The ideal candidate will
have expertise in mechanical engineering processes, including
design build and preconstruction phases, with a strong focus on
HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems. Key Responsibilities Lead the
mechanical engineering team in the design and execution of
construction projects. Ensure compliance with building codes and
industry regulations throughout all phases of engineering and
construction. Oversee the development and management of project
budgets and timelines. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and
clients to ensure design specifications are met. Implement design
build strategies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Conduct quality control checks and ensure that all engineering work
meets the required standards and specifications. Manage and mentor
engineering staff, fostering professional development and team
collaboration. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical
Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. Minimum of 10 years
of experience in mechanical engineering within the construction
industry. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems
design and implementation. Experience with Revit and other design
engineering software. Thorough understanding of compliance
regulations and building codes. Proven leadership skills and
