Job Description Job Description Job Title: CNC Lathe Operator Job Description The CNC Lathe Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC lathes, performing tasks in both a controlled shop environment and outdoor settings like the pipe yard. This role involves using CNC lathes, overhead cranes, forklifts, telehandlers, band saws, hand tools, and power tools, with professionalism and technical expertise. Responsibilities Operate and maintain CNC lathes efficiently. Perform machine edits with G-code expertise. Utilize math and computer skills to enter machine parameters. Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, telehandlers, and band saws. Assist with various tasks using hand and power tools. Ensure precision and quality in all machine operations. Essential Skills Experience with CNC lathe operation, including program editing. Proficiency in G-code. Strong math and computer skills for entering machine parameters. Ability to operate forklifts and other machinery safely. Additional Skills & Qualifications At least 2 years of related experience preferred. Ability to pass safety and CNC lathe training courses. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Justin, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
