Job Description Job Description Description: JOB SUMMARY: This position performs maintenance and repairs of the facility’s vehicles and general operations. They must be able to service mechanical equipment with minimal supervision and/or assistance. This position is responsible for the successful delivery of preventative maintenance and emergency break fix services to ensure all equipment is safe and operating properly. This position is not eligible for remote work. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Must be able to assist in the service of mechanical equipment Basic maintenance of engines including oil changes, lubricating, and filter changes Ability to identify failures and inventory needed for repairs Anticipate problems and appropriate solutions Responsible for completion of work orders assigned by management Demonstrate a continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively to provide quality customer service ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with contractor related maintenance of the equipment Ensure a safe environment for all patrons and employees by following the life safety and emergency program Implement and practice facility regulations, policies, and procedures Communicate issues and ideas to management in a constructive and positive manner Provide clear, concise, and timely communication JOB QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or G.E.D. Basic knowledge internal combustion engines and hydraulic systems preferred High level of problem solving and troubleshooting skills Experience with changing oil and basic vehicle maintenance. Able to work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance. Willingness and desire to learn multiple areas of the sports and entertainment business Able to work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays Physical Demands and Working Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle large objects, tools, carts and drive machinery. Reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, talk, and hear for up to 8-14 hours a day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
