Summary The Director of Treasury provides daily oversight of all aspects of the Treasury function. The position has day-to-day oversight of cash management, trade and supply chain finance, hedging, debt covenant compliance and the maintenance of a sound internal controls environment. The Director of Treasury will manage a core treasury team of three team members consisting of a Senior Treasury Analyst and two Treasury Analysts Description of Duties and Responsibilities
--- Lead, mentor and develop less experienced treasury team members.
--- Lead technology implementations; Including implementation of a treasury management system.
--- Coordinate establishment or revision of policies and procedures for all core treasury functions to ensure internal controls are effectively designed and maintained.
--- Develop expert knowledge of the Company's debt covenants and borrowing base mechanics. Coordinate ongoing monitoring of Company's debt covenant compliance process.
--- Support in the implementation and expansion of supply chain finance and other initiatives aimed at enhancing and reporting on the efficiency of the allocation of capital across the Company's operations.
--- Oversight of treasury operations and cash management activities to ensure adequate capabilities to support the needs of the company at minimum cost and executed under a sound internal controls environment.
--- Oversight of commodity, currency and interest rate risk hedging activities including design, documentation, execution, and reporting.
--- Lead treasury team effort in preparation of presentations to the Board, Rating Agencies, and lenders.
--- Collaborating with cross-functional partners on special projects and ad-hoc assignments pursuant to direction from the Vice President and Treasurer. -
Scope & Impact
--- This position supports the maintenance of important relationships with vendors and financial partners. The responsibilities of this position may impact all Southwire operating divisions. Execution of this position's responsibilities can impact the company's credit worthiness, interest income and expense, the effect of foreign exchange and commodity price movements has on Southwire expenses as well as other financial statement items. -
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
--- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related degree required. Advanced degree, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and/or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation preferred.
--- At least 10 years of relevant Treasury experience within a large complex organization including a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role.
--- Comprehensive knowledge of treasury operations, debt financing and relevant financial concepts.
--- Requires precise attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, a strong ability to multi-task and being a self-starter.
--- Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to appropriately influence internal senior level decision makers and external advisors, lenders, rating agencies and banking partners.
--- Familiarity with banking cash management portals and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is critical.
