organizational processes. To help maintain and grow this standard,
we're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the
daily activities of our Manufacturing Support & Supply Chain
Operations Department and be a key driver of project success. Our
ideal candidate will have a sharp grasp on strategic finance and
business development. We're looking for a candidate with proven
success in maximizing productivity across multiple teams who is
adept in human resource allocation, supply chain/sourcing, and
manufacturing operations management. They should be able to take
initiative to look for inefficiencies within the organizational
process, spearhead, and nurture the steady improvement of internal
processes with solid managerial skills and thoughtful and
actionable approaches to improving processes. It's important to us
for this candidate to encourage an environment of trust, diversity,
and inclusion within the team and understand how to leverage that
to cultivate high performing, efficient teams in our supply chain
and manufacturing business operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct and manage all functions involved in the daily operations of
the Supply chain in the US and support our manufacturing operations
in Taiwan and China
Cultivate operational excellence across all functional groups
Accountable for efficient and successful delivery of products to
the customer by liaising with engineering and offshore
manufacturing departments
Effectively coordinate and execute operational plans for component
procurement and inventory, prioritizing manufacturing scheduling
based on contracts, orders, and part availability
Incentivize higher performance and organization; direct, mentor,
motivate, and coach team with thoughtful approaches; hire, train,
set goals with, and develop new team members
Collaborate with other business functions to accomplish project,
department, and business objectives
Direct and allocate support for manufacturing, sourcing, and
quality functions within the company in transitioning new products
from engineering design to manufacturing to improve processes and
product reliability
Develop project plans and monitor progress; take initiative to
resolve issues, push to meet key deadlines and timely deliverables
to projects, and effectively articulate status reports to
stakeholders
Set goals for operation team KPIs, monitor product component
metrics and trends, balance workloads and tasks.
Stay up to date with outstanding issues and tasks
Accounts for compliance to company procedures, safety / quality
requirements, and programs related to good working practice
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in engineering or Operations Management, Business
Administration or related field
7+ years' proven experience in an operations management
position
Strong supply chain and material budgeting, operational logistics,
and oversight skills
Strong follow through and is quick to take initiative on
outstanding issues
Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities and empower team
members while maintaining organizational control of the department
operations and customer interfacing
Highly trained in conflict management and business negotiation
processes
Quick to learn and ability to work in a fast paced environment
Will act proactively to increase efficiency and productivity
Leads by example in contributing to a welcoming, professional, and
efficient work culture
Tech savvy with working knowledge of (or aptitude to learn) digital
project management, tracking, and business tools such as G-suite,
SmartSheet, Asana, Trello, etc.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint,
Outlook)
