We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Quality Manager in our climate controlled facility located in Carrollton, Texas. The typical work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Manufacturing Quality Manager is responsible for the direction and coordination of the manufacturing Quality function. Partners with Engineering, Production, and all levels of the organization to ensure that product and manufacturing processes meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirements. How you will spend your time:--- Directs the Quality team and departmental activities to validate product and process conformance to internal, customer and regulatory requirements. --- Responsible for developing and maintaining incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspection sampling plans, procedures, and test protocols.--- Develops and analyzes internal metrics to monitor and drive improvements in quality, efficiency, cost, and ultimately customer satisfaction. Works with various functions of the organization to ensure quality and production objectives and targets are met.--- Maintains the measurement system by coordinating equipment calibration, repair, and MSA/GR&R efforts as needed. --- Participates in and contributes to product design reviews and guides development of Quality standards. Works with Engineering and Sales to capture and transfer customer requirements to internal documentation and controls. --- Develops Manufacturing Process Flow, PFMEAs, and Quality Control Plans. Develops and/or contributes to the development of assembly work instructions. Oversees and/or performs First Article Inspections.--- Validates, designs, and/or builds production fixtures. --- Processes customer returns and conducts product failure analysis as required. Closely monitors customer complaint and RMA trends and leads corrective or preventive action where required.--- Monitors supplier quality performance and works with suppliers to improve performance as needed. --- Manages the non-conforming materials process and monitors internal quality levels and manufacturing process capability. --- Identifies, coordinates, and implements corrective actions as required by internal or third party audits, quality, or performance issues. Identifies, recommends, and implements preventive actions to minimize costs related to rework, scrap, and risk to the customer. --- Coordinates internal and third party quality system audits with the Director of Quality and Logistics. --- Responsible for hiring and training Quality staff. Develops and manages the Quality team within the Operations Department.--- Develops and maintains relevant internal training documentation and requirements. --- Performs quality inspections and tests as needed.We're excited if you have:--- Possession of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university with major course work in Business or Operations Management.--- Minimum five years of on the job experience in the QA/QC field, with 2 year minimum in management or supervisory position.
