This opening is for our new acquisition The Residences of Carrollton (500 units) coming onboard in August!

At Related Management Company (RMC), Assistant Community Managers support our properties and teams in a critical way - you represent RMC to residents, employees, and agency partners. In this role, you'll assist in leading day-to-day property operations and sharpen your business acumen. Under the guidance of your Community Manager, you'll increase your knowledge of affordable program compliance. You'll also have ample opportunity to grow your leadership skills through training and development, as well as manager-on-duty responsibilities. The best part? Essential Functions:

  • Assist in leading property management operations to ensure financial targets and compliance standards are met.
  • Support leasing team; conduct leasing and move-in activities for property as needed.
  • Manage annual re-certification process, ensuring on-time, and accurate completion.
  • Conduct unit inspections to ensure compliance with applicable program standards.
  • Utilize the property management system to oversee all resident transactions.
  • Issue and deliver resident notices as needed - e.g., late payments, returned checks, etc.
  • Collect rents as manager-on-duty.
  • Oversee building staff as manager-on-duty.
  • Manage invoice and payment processing.
  • Assist in training property team members to maximize performance.
  • Assist with resident relations and requests, including conflict resolution, while maintaining a strong sense of community.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills.
  • Support site and office operations as assigned by manager.

      Compensation:

      $20 - $22 / hour DOE plus commission and bonus



      Qualifications

      • At least 1 year experience as an Assistant Property Manager
      • Strong understanding of AP/AR and financial statements
      • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
      • Strong communication, supervisory, administrative, and organizational skills
      • Detail oriented with excellent customer service skills
      • Knowledge of market-rate housing and leasing
      • Experience with RealPage OneSite and JD Edwards(or similar software program)
      • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision
      • Bilingual Spanish is a plus
