The Unsecured Lending Credit Portfolio Officer will be working in best in class, dynamic Risk organization that drives sustainable growth. This individual will collaborate closely with Risk and Business product leads to enable Citi's growth in unsecured lending and to monitor portfolio risk in partnership with the broader risk management group. The team is looking for a high-energy individual who is looking to make a significant difference at-scale.Responsibilities:Develop framework for portfolio risk assessment including evaluation of credit and financial performance across credit card products for innovative & highly engaging lending programs like - Balance Transfer, Flex Loans etc.Ownership of managing campaigns and making key decisions in minimizing credit losses and optimizing profitabilityDesign credit risk policy by applying complex tools and leveraging performance from look-alike segments-- - - Establish and leverage cross-functional partnerships with Marketing, Product & Finance to create a collaborative working group and represent Risk in driving key initiatives for balance transfer and other consumer lending programs-- - - Leverage external credit bureaus & internal Citi data to develop analytical solutions, and perform statistical analyses using CHAID and other advanced segmentation techniques to identify relationships and trends in data, as well as any factors that could affect these resultsEvaluate, implement, and monitor sophisticated analytic tools which help to evaluate portfoliosegment risk and enable deep dive to identify high risk segmentsAnalyze portfolio performance at a granular segment level on an ongoing basisIdentify trends and conduct data driven root-cause-analysis using SAS and SQL to isolate key performance driversCommunicate policy changes and test recommendations, program approvals, performance trends with business partners and senior managementManage large data using SAS and Teradata and leverage probabilities, distributions, and decision trees to perform risk, financial and data analyses including profiling, performance, forecasting and new program due diligenceQualifications:6-10 years of experience in credit card risk management or equivalent training and experience preferably in the financial services industryProven ability to apply credit and risk principles toward business goalsProven ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environmentStrong drive to deliver results in a fast-paced environment, including ability to work independently, prioritize workload, demonstrate attention to detail and meet deadlinesEducation:Bachelor's degreeMaster's degree in statistics, mathematics, finance, economics, or equivalent experienceMaster's degree preferred-------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Risk Management-------------------------------------------------Job Family:Credit & Portfolio Risk Management------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Citigroup Inc. and its subsidiaries ("Citi"-- -) invite all qualified interested applicants to apply for career opportunities.
