Great work youll do here:This role is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Home Hospice providers within a region. The RDO will work closely with the Hospice Leadership Team on all matters involving agency operations. This position will direct special projects, collaborate with the Corporate Department Directors and Administrators on development of procedures and systems to achieve delivery of client care services in conjunction with agency and company goals and financial objectives.
Provides support to agencies in achievement of identified clinical and operational goalsEnsures participation in performance improvement activitiesEnsures effective and ongoing, on-the-job training of agency administrators/executive directorsProvides coaching and counseling and makes appropriate developmental and salary adjustment recommendationsPrepares reports to inform leadership on updates regarding project status, issues, achievements etcEnsures and coordinates communications and information flows between corporate support and agency operations within assigned regionActs as an advocate for the Intrepid agencies and support center to improve the overall operationsOversees marketing, sales, and census developmentMay serve as Acting Administrator/Executive DirectorManages special projects within the regionMonitors compliance with state and federal regulations and Intrepid standards, in collaboration with the EVP of Sales/Ops, Compliance and Human Resources departmentsMonitor and maintain quality products and programs which adhere to Intrepid mission and principles in all national branchesBudget preparation and implementationExceptional initiative, judgment, leadership & analytical skillsKnowledge of applicable federal and state regulatory requirementsKnowledge of Performance Improvement Process/OBQIStrong management skills, effective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to access and manage through crisis situationsExcellent Interpersonal and Team Building SkillsKnowledge of Company standards and computer systemsAbility to travel as required and neededCompletes other assignments and duties as requested and assigned to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Company

Baccalaureate/Masters Degree is preferred.Current Registered Nurse licensure (in good standing) in the state(s) of practice Valid drivers license and automobile insuranceRequired
