Population Health, Performance and Strategy Director DFW

development is key to our success. - Summary -The Population
Health, Performance, and Strategy Director will combine the skills
of analysis, project management, and experience with value-based
care while working with operational leaders to identify and
implement impactful strategies and lead company projects to
success. - S/He has Population Health and value-based care
experience to guide the selection and method of measurement for Key
Performance Indicators (KPIs). - -S/He will develop strategies and
implement projects to promote the optimization of company goals by
utilizing KPIs. - This person follows and leads the company in
process improvement. S/he will work as part of the team to
identify, document, and support the implementation of efficient
business solutions. The Population Health, Performance, and
Strategy Director will report to the Vice President, Population
Health. The Population Health Department is responsible for
exceptional performance in all value-based care agreements. This
includes planning, implementation, status tracking, and resource
management for numerous initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to develop and lead calculation of KPIs
- Ability to analyze KPIs to design business strategies for
optimizing population health and value-based care
- Ability to quickly understand the business issues and data
challenges within the healthcare industry and our business
organization
- Desire to work in a fast-moving team environment with a proven
ability to take leadership
- Experience producing executive-level reports to evaluate and
present organizational data
- Excellent detail orientation and organizational skills
- Strong analytical, multi-tasking, documentation, and
problem-solving skills

- Demonstrate operations knowledge by knowing the functions of
each department, understanding how each department aligns with
company goals and priorities, and augmenting operational leaders by
developing appropriate strategies
- Coordinate with vendors, payors, and other external parties to
manage programs
- Communicate information, reminders, and issues to stakeholders
with consideration of priorities
- Be agile and respond quickly to adjusting for risks
- Assess and make suggestions on how processes could be done more
efficiently
- Utilize tools and best practices for project management and
execution
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability for selected
strategies, resolving any issues and adjusting as needed
- Create, set goals, and track measures of success related to
multiple contracts
- Complete research as appropriate
- Serve as a performance advisor to executives and
management
- Other duties as assignedRequired Skills and Abilities:
- Lead calculation and validate Key Performance Indicators and
perform analysis to:
- Accurately present current business performance
- Utilize different data sources (e.g., payers, electronic health
records) to assess, produce, and/or develop standard or custom
information (reports, dashboards, interactive reporting, charts,
graphs, and tables)
- Share and incorporate organizational best practices into
business applications.
- Collaborate with department leaders to use data in the
identification and tracking of operational initiatives
- Analyze data for trends, observations, and improvements and
make recommendations for department leaders to drive relevant
business or clinical initiatives
- Recommend / Offer process improvement alternatives for system
and manual processes
- Identify metrics/analytics to measure and track the health of
the business and the business process that is implemented
- Identify the best strategies to achieve challenging company
goalsEducation and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of project or program management experience
required
- 5+ years of healthcare field experience required
- 3+ years of value-based care experience required
- Excellent detail orientation and organizational skills
- Strong analytical, multi-tasking, documentation, presentation,
interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written
form to a diverse audience
- Demonstrated ability to complete research independently after
gathering initial information
- Experience creating KPIs for a healthcare organization
- Proficient to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word,
PowerPoint, and One Drive required Preferred Qualifications
- - Master's degree
- - Experience producing reports to evaluate healthcare data
preferred
- - Lean Six Sigma experiencePhysical and Other Requirements:
- No travel is expected. - Will be a hybrid role with
work-from-home and the Carrollton office
