looking for an Associate Director of Performance Marketing to join
our team and lead growth strategies to generate new leads and
acquire customers. Your mission will be to drive growth through the
development and execution of a robust online and offline marketing
strategy, integrating both incremental optimizations and expansion
into new channels and opportunities. The right candidate is highly
analytical and constantly seeks to improve channel performance by
aligning with credit risk, analytics, finance, and other key
stakeholders.Responsibilities
- Craft well-structured strategic marketing plans using
qualitative and quantitative data and producing measurable results
to enable the business to meet customer acquisition targets, sales,
margin, and overall goal achievement.
- Manage a team of direct reports as well as lead a
cross-functional team to develop and implement marketing
acquisition strategies across online and off-line channels.
- Own day-to-day planning, prioritization, and execution of
performance marketing channels, campaigns, and tools.
- Navigate a highly matrixed organization, influence internal
partners, build consensus, and work across various functional
departments to plan & execute through creative development,
targeting, production and measurement.
- Outline channel and campaign tracking and measurement
requirements, working with necessary stakeholders to build and
validate reports and dashboards to effectively measure attributable
success.
- Review analytic results daily to understand performance, test
results and profitability; utilize data and analytics to drive
marketing decisions based on consumer interactions and
behaviors.
- Identify new capabilities to improve program performance and
support launch of new initiatives and programs; assess performance
and issues proactively and recommend enhancements.
- Continuously and consistently evaluate potentially lucrative
acquisition channels for possible scaling and future testing.
- Act as a thought leader, presenting and discussing ideas with
intent to persuade, educate, and enhance understanding across all
levels of the organization.
- Present strategic roadmap and ongoing performance updates to
leadership, including financials, test results, analytical
insights, etc.
- Facilitate a culture of constant measurement, testing and
learning.
- Share funnel conversion improvement ideas, feedback & present
results.
- Optimize team structure, priorities, and processes to maximize
the team's contribution and impact on the organization.
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of performance marketers. Grow
team and capabilities to reach aggressive targets.
- Identify, vet, hire, fire and manage external
partners/vendors.
- Manage the Performance Marketing budget, including annual AOP
planning, forecasting, spend tracking, and measuring impact and ROI
for all dollars spent.
- Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in performance marketing and advertising
strategy including experience with SEM, digital marketing,
affiliate marketing, OTT, CTV and traditional marketing
channels
- Proficient in bid management, media buying and marketing
program optimization
- Ability to solve for off-line conversion attribution
- Data driven and highly analytical with the ability to tell a
story with data
- Focused on driving quantifiable business results
- Highly curious and never settles for good enough
- Loves testing, learning, and taking calculated risks
- Is vigorous and thorough in their management of details
- Comfortable with continuously changing priorities
- Excels at managing multiple initiatives simultaneously within
tight deadlines
- Ability to demonstrate calmness in uncertain and stressful
circumstances while driving the team and key stakeholders to
deliver on expected outcomes within tight timelines
- Exceptional leadership skills with an ability to influence and
drive people towards a common goal
- A fantastic partner who leads through strong collaboration with
the ability to build strong, effective, and long-lasting
relationships both internally and externally
- Approachable and relatable person who will earn the trust of
leadership and business stakeholders who will trust in their
insights and judgments, hence, making the execution of duties more
effective
- Experienced manager of marketing budgets, forecasts, and
expected returns
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in the financial industry a plus
- Experience with Campaign Manager a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or relevant field, or
