  We are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our distribution center. This key role is responsible to Manage Receiving, Production, Inventory Control, Returns and Traffic operations by strategically developing, initiating, coordinating and enforcing operational policies and procedures. We are seeking a self-starter that is proactive and is able to work semi-autonomously. To be successful in this role, our candidate will be solution oriented, high energy and technologically savvy.Job Description and Responsibilities
  • Manage warehouse operations in accordance with the company s vision and policies
  • Manage Receiving, Production, Inventory Control, Returns and Traffic operations by strategically developing, initiating, coordinating and enforcing operational policies and procedures
  • Create and optimize warehouse processes, layout and operational functions to ensure efficiency and growth
  • Develop, maintain and enforce safety standards; oversee timely safety meetings with the
  • Monitor daily productivity and efficiency of all warehouse teams; provide accurate reporting of daily production goals and expectations; monitor statistics and quality regularly
  • Develop, train, coach and motivate a strong cohesive teams
  • Provide cross training for all positions in the warehouse
  • Maintain positive open lines of communication with every department within the company
  • Ensure all issues brought to the warehouse team are resolved quickly and process changes are made if needed
  • Provide communication with various service providers outside of the company to ensure all customer, provider and service needs are being metSuccess Looks like

    • Initiate and facilitate projects focusing on the improvement of safety, quality, delivery, cost and employee moraleExperience Requirements
      • 10 years of retail warehousing experience in a fast paced manual pick and pack environment preferred
      • 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience of more than 20 employees and/or temp labor
      • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus but not required
      • Experience in budget, cost and asset management
      • Solid track record of providing solutions, decision making and taking initiative to make things better
      • Create and monitor KPIs against targets; lead the organization to meet or exceed KPIs
      • Experience in creating and maintaining safety rules and processes
      • Experience in logistics process and flow development
      • Forklift Training experience preferred but not required
      • High School Diploma or GED preferred
      • Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google Office
      • Experience using warehouse management software and inventory control systems
      • Proven leadership record
      • Flexibility when it comes to working overtime and weekends
      • Willing to work in a non-climate controlled warehouse
