Network Affiliates, are looking for full-time and PRN nurses to
join our team in Carrollton.PSN Affiliates, manages surgery centers
throughout Texas and is looking for talented nurses to partner with
to give superior patient care. Minimum Requirements
Graduate of an accredited nursing
programMinimum of two (2) years experience in surgery or has
completed specialty class for the clinical nurse or as a PACU
RNCurrent Texas Nursing LicenseCurrent certification as a BLS
Healthcare ProviderACLS and PAL RequiredCurrent CPR

*DENTALPosition SummaryThe nurse is responsible for implementing
the Pre-Op holding record (patients medical record), and the
assimilation of the patients hospital record. The pre-admission
nurse is also responsible for implementing the nursing process
performing needed pre-op testing and providing for the continuity
and quality of nursing care for patients. -Position
Responsibilities
Coordinating registration for any
patient requiring pre-admission testingManaging patients' admission
processes to preoperative department in our hospitals and/or
surgical centersCoordinating of pre-surgery testing of patients for
outpatient surgery and same day surgeryAssessing the status of
patients health in pre-op and ensure accuracy of identification
wristbandEnsuring that operative and informed consents are in
orderDetermining the surgeon and procedure being carried outTaking
and recording vital statistics of patients to ensure readiness for
surgical procedureInitiating IVs and ensuring that patients are
informed about the procedure and attending medical staffExhibiting
the HCA Standards of Excellence and always exercises strict
confidentiality All other duties as assigned -Pre-admissions
Testing Nurse Duties:
Completes required orientation as
directed by facility Follows facility and OSHA safety rules and
procedures while on assignmentFollows facility Unusual Occurrence
ProtocolRespects cultural and religious practices of
patientsUpholds HIPAA regulationsPunctual and dependent for
assigned/confirmed shiftsPreoperative Duties of PACU Nurse: Manage
patients admission processes to preoperative department in a
hospital Assess the status of patients health in pre-op and ensure
