Apply today for our RN Pediatric ICU opportunity.Job Summary and Qualifications Perform direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on the critically ill pediatric patient. Organize, implement, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care. This plan will be individualized, family centered, and holistic. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment. Participate in PICU initiatives and process improvement. Maintain high-quality age specific care for the neonatal, pediatric, adolescent and young adult population. Support the mission, vision and values of the organization \n What qualifications you will need:Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start datePALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start dateRegistered Nurse license in the state of Texas or Compact LicenseAssociate Degree required, BSN required within 24 months of hire CCRN preferred1 year of PICU or 2 years Peds or Peds Trauma experience required. Will consider Adult ICU or other ICU settings with 2 years experience This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
