Job Summary and Qualifications What you will do in this role: Utilizing the standards set forth for Nursing Practice by the ANA and the RN will organize, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care for Emergency Department patients. It will include individualized, family centered, holistic, supportive, and safe care. What qualifications you will need:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (ASN) from Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. Compact license is accepted. BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position.
  • Current BLS- Healthcare Provider issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
    • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
    • PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
    • Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
    • Associate Degree
