Join our committed team as an MRI Tech PRN, where you will operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to capture specific images ordered by a physician to aid in patient diagnosis. You will be an integral part of a system striving for excellence in patient outcomes and supporting the community's health needs around Texas. Operate MRI equipment to create the best images for medical staff to utilize in diagnosis. Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety. Inspect MRI equipment, perform routine maintenance, and report any malfunctions for repairs. Adhere to all safety guidelines to protect patients, staff, and self from high-strength magnetic fields. Record and maintain accurate patient records for medical staff. Collaborate with physicians and other medical personnel to improve procedure and outcomes. Provide clear instructions to patients during MRI procedures to optimize image quality. Proficiency in operating MRI and related equipment. Strong understanding of anatomical positioning. Excellent patient management and communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of safety and protocol for magnetic resonance environments. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). State licensure where required by law. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is typically required.
