Salary Range:$165,000-$375,000The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$375,000 plus bonus eligibility and other elements of our total rewards package. The range represents the amount bnsf - tech reasonably expects to pay for the position based on the level, scope, and responsibilities of the role. • Design and development of robust, scalable, and secure software applications.
• Work on both front-end and back-end development, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Implement and manage testing processes to ensure the quality and reliability of the applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering their growth and development.Basic Qualifications
  • Able to work in the US without company sponsorship now AND in the future.
  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with demonstrated success delivering enterprise-scale solutions.
  • Fluency and specialization with technologies such as such as Java, Springboot, Javascript, Angular, Kafka, Oracle, Mongo DB, Docker, Openshift and Graffana.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent education or work experience.
  • Familiarity with cloud services.
  • Experience building the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems.
  • Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
  • Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication).
  • Experience in testing methodologies using frameworks such as Junit, Spock testing framework, etc.Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience in Rail, Shipping, Airline, Logistics, Warehousing, Supply Chain, or other Transportation industries or experience in a High-Tech industry.
    • Experience leveraging Sisense, EFK, Dynatrace, Mapbox, IDP/OIDC, Electron and Stunnel.
