This position is responsible for the design, implementation,
maintenance, integrity and data quality of the Nazih Zuhdi
Transplant Institute (NZTI) in support of strict reporting
requirements. This includes ongoing analysis of health care
information, obtained from a variety of sources, including patient
care, financial, and demographic data. It involves development and
preparation of information products for transplant leadership,
physicians and staff, including the assembly of documentation
required for submission to regulatory agencies. It requires the
ability to analyze health care data from conceptualization through
presentation of the data. It requires proficiency with analytical
tools (SAS, Excel), knowledge of data analysis methodology, use of
presentation software, strong communication skills and a strong
commitment to and affinity for delivering the highest level of

The Data Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited
to, the following:
* Develop programs, methodologies, and files for analyzing and
* Works with customers to develop and understand product
* Develops methodologies for collecting, analyzing, and
presenting data products.

verbally, to customer specifications and timelines.
* Perform complex data analysis in support of ad-hoc and
standing customer requests.

Required Physical Demands (Subject to Reasonable

* Bachelors degree with 2 years of experience or an Associate
degree with 4 years of experience specifically involving data
analysis, quality assurance, and support.
* Masters degree in relevant discipline may substitute for
* Healthcare experience preferred.
* Training and experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, Word and
PowerPoint, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, and SAS
* Must be able to communicate effectively in English
