Avery Dennison is seeking a Purchasing/Scheduling Office
Coordinator for our Dallas Finishing Center located in Carrollton,
Texas. You will primarily support the facility with general
logistics, finishing and planning needs. This role provides a
variety of support services in accordance with standard procedures
to the Supply Chain, Materials Management, and/or Logistics
function. The standard schedule for this role is A Shift (7:00 a.m.
- 3:00 p.m.).
Order Planning and Batching responsibilities as required.
Maintain checkbook or other required record keeping.
Ship and receive materials and equipment to support production
and verify receipts in related computer systems (e.g. Oracle, MES,
Perform inventory audits to verify accuracy and achieve business
Follow internal procedures for shipping all orders, stock and
non-stock, ensuring to follow first in, first out (FIFO).
Coordinate with Customer Service and Supply Chain for same-day
Attending managing for daily improvement (MDI) meetings.
Develop requisitions for and manage records of materials and/or
inventory. Determine irregularities in orders.
Perform order processing responsibilities and prepare purchase
Prepare and monitor material requisitions and material schedules
with production schedules. Create and generate reports on material
plans and schedules.
Use computer system for tracking, logging, verifying,
maintaining records and reporting on inventory, production,
distribution, and/or transportation.
Additional responsibilities as needed, which may include, but
not limited to: Load and unload trucks to inventory and racking,
packing and finishing operating duties as needed.
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Ability to become tow motor certified.
Excellent computer skills required. Knowledge of basic PC
