In this new position, you will provide financial, administrative and clerical support by ensuring payments are completed and expenses are controlled by processing payments, verifying and reconciling invoices according to established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.CHERRY COATINGS is an innovator and pioneer in advanced techniques for a wide variety of commercial projects. We're proud to be named a Top 25 Minority-Owned Businesses and Top 25 Family Owned Business in North Texas by the Business Journal.Essential Functions:* Upload invoices for payment to the accounting software and initiate approval process.* Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances* Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports and recording entries* Pay vendors timely by preparing weekly check-run reports for approval.* Pay employees by receiving and verifying expense reports for advances; preparing checks* Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions* Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements. Enter new or update vendor names and data* Provide accurate and effective document preparation and records management relative to the AP function in accordance with records retention policies and procedures* Monthly credit card reconciliation and processing* Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential* Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities Requirements:* Minimum 3 years general full cycle accounting with strong job costing experience* Knowledge of general accounting principles (GAAP)* Experience in data collection, entry and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality* Able to process high-volume data with accuracy* Computer savvy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel; CMIC* Superior math and numerical skills* Outstanding organizational and time management skills* Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problem-solving* Associates Degree; BS/BA in Accounting is preferred * Bilingual Spanish/English preferredJob Type:--Full Time/Salary Paid WeeklyBenefitsOutstanding work environment, Paid Holidays, Flexible Paid Vacation, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, & more; 401K, Profit Sharing, are just some of the amazing reasons to join our team!
