Great work you’ll do here:

The Vice President of Patient Advocacy you will plan, coordinate, direct and lead Intrepid's Healthcare at Home division to achieve strategic business areas in the areas of growth, quality service and program delivery as well as staff retention. Create and drive the financial success of the Healthcare at Home division through continuous evaluation and monitoring of financial reports to achieve or exceed budget projections.  Providing leadership on matters related to national, regional, and local trends in the home health industry as well as legal issues pertaining to the industry.

  • Partnering with clinical leadership and staff to provide exceptional care to Intrepid's patients to achieve best possible outcomes for the patient.
  • Driving the financial success of the Hospice at Home division through continuous evaluation and monitoring of financial reports to achieve or exceed budget projections.
  • Developing and implementing short and long-range strategic goals and objectives to ensure strong fiscal management, growth, and long-term viability of the business units.
  • Expanding home health services in scope, volume, and geographic coverage to meet the needs of its clients and referral sources through aggressive marketing, business development and leadership.
  • Developing, documenting, implementing, and evaluating home health programs. Communicating policies and procedures to home health leaders and employees to ensure appropriate support for sustainable growth.
  • Partnering with other divisional leaders to integrate home health services with hospice and private duty allowing the Company to provide a truly seamless continuum of services to its patients.
  • Supports and provide leadership to all marketing employees
  • Overseeing the hiring, training and management of high-quality staff at all levels and ensure they are held responsible for carrying out duties related to the sales and operations of the Company.
  • Completes other assignments and duties as requested and assigned to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Company

  • Strong ability to be the public face of the organization, and serve as an advocate for Home Healthcare, Home Hospice and other service lines
  • Creative thinker who embraces thought leadership
  • Capable of making challenging decisions and willing to take responsibility for them.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration or related field (Master’s Degree preferred)
  • Fifteen (15) years’ experience in managing, developing and growing multi-agency home care providers or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
