How will you affect the business?

• The Vice President Quality owns the definition, authorship, and evolution of our claims handling best practices!
• The overarching goal of our best practices is to ensure, consistent with our mission, that our daily claims practices ensure the delivery of demonstrably superior outcomes on behalf of our clients!

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in driving continuous improvement in claim practices and results though practice definition and associated quality assurance efforts. That expertise will ideally be informed through prior operational leadership and experience with direct ownership for the total loss costs of a portfolio of claims at a risk-bearing entity - an insurance carrier, a large self-insured enterprise or other claim risk transfer organization. The candidate will also have a deep awareness of evolving industry trends and innovations. You will report directly to the Claims Executive Leadership team and play a significant role in our continued leadership in the insurance industry.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 12 years related claims experience

Desired:
Results-oriented, self-motivated professional with the ability to balance business goals and strategies with a hands-on operating approach. Proven technical expertise in claims, audit and operations environments. Ability to serve as our line of business authority responsible for authoring best practices in line with evolving product and market dynamics and in the context of operational feasibility and outcomes. Analyze performance across quality claim lifecycle to see opportunities to improve performance and evolve our best practices over time.

Engage effectively with teams at every level and with clients, carrier and prospects as needed to support technical practices. Influence change in the operation without direct line authority, provide assistance and direction to all roles without being in leadership chai. Effectively lead Quality Director level and Branch Leader level to improve quality team products.

Responsible for executing and coordinating claim quality reviews and plans. Recognize and then clearly articulate scope, objectives and business benefits for key quality assurance and improvement efforts. Responsible for leading multiple projects and following projects through implementation successfully.
