Under minimal direction, the Regional Operations Support Specialist
works side-by-side with Division Service Departments to implement
and execute DuraServ Operational Best Practices across assigned
regions. This role will report directly to the Vice President of
Operations to support a variety of tasks, special operational
projects, and significant job transitions as directed. The part
will be based out of our Carrollton, Texas Corporate office with
travel to all our Divisions to grow the business.
Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Provide Operational Best Practices for all Service Departments
within assigned Regions to ensure corporate operational metrics are
achieved
Train to Operational Excellence within the Region with known Best
Practices
Facilitates the continuous improvement with all Service Departments
in Regions assigned in alignment with DuraServ Operational
Guidelines/Best Practices
Identify and understand issues and opportunities; compare data from
different sources to conclude, use practical approaches for
choosing a course of action, and take action consistent with
available facts, constraints, and probable consequences
Proven ability to leverage the capabilities and insights of
individuals with diverse styles, abilities, and motivations to
achieve strong results
Ability to remain flexible and adjust promptly and effectively
during times of change
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Identify, escalate and implement Best Practices across the
Region
Support operational excellence training for all offices in the
Region
Understands and supports the training of our Divisions within
Regions on the use of continuous improvement methodologies
Integrate Operational Best Practices for all new acquisitions
Support Operational Best Practices excellence training for all
offices in the region
Carry out other projects as directed by the Vice President of
Operations
Skills we are seeking:
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field preferred.
Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt Certification is a plus.
Prior experience in manufacturing, distribution and service
industries is helpful.
Established computer skills and specific familiarity with Microsoft
Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and
Teams) required.
Rigorous and regular employment of standard Lean problem-solving
tools (data analytics/Pareto charting, Fishbone diagrams, 5 Why's,
& 8D) and Kaizen to address performance shortcomings and drive
rapid process and performance improvement.
