Job Description:
Temporary Assignment 1 month or Longer.
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be
assigned.)
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including coding,
processing, and reconciling invoices/expense reports /credit
memo's
- Invoice reviewing for appropriate documentation and approval
prior to payment
- Prioritizing invoices according to payment terms. Scheduling,
preparing payments, and resolving purchase order or payment
discrepancies
- Answers all vendor inquiries, including telephone calls &
emails.
- Assist with month end closing and reporting
- Prepare payment runs each week
- Vendor set up and maintenance
- Maintaining accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and
corporate accounts payable files and documentation thoroughly and
accurately
- Ensure prompt and courteous customer service for both internal
and external vendors
- Performs filing, scanning, pulling documentation for account
auditing
- Contact /Communicate with vendors, requesting pod's, invoices &
statements.
- Communicate with purchasing dept regarding approvals on
purchase orders , pricing discrepancies.
- Assisting with other projects as needed
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Accurate 10-key calculator skills by touch.
- Good written & oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills to solve complex payables
issues
- Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and quality to
minimize risk of errors
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Ability to process a high volume of invoices
- Ability to work independently, as well with other employees
