A few details about the role:

• Supports the enterprise compliance strategy, structure, and process, and the standards for the compliance and audit program.
• Administer the compliance policies and procedures that fosters ethical and compliant behavior and provide the basis for adequate internal controls and compliance with laws and regulatory requirements applicable to Lifespace Communities.
• Works with CCO for the development, dissemination, and implementation of policies, compliance and audit standards; areas that may include, but are not limited to: licensure; tax status; prevention of management fraud and illegal acts; unauthorized use of assets; improper or inadequate documentation and billing; and adherence to regulatory requirements of CMS, OCR, OSHA, EPA, FDA, ADA, IRS, and EEO.
• Provide guidance to team members on regulatory compliance and health information management matters.
• Maintain current knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to the senior living industry, including HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid, keeping abreast of recent changes.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of senior living or healthcare regulatory standards required.
    • A minimum of two (2) years of senior living or healthcare industry experience required.
