Job Description Job Description Job Overview The Communications Project Coordinator works in tandem with Creative Project Coodinator and Direct Report to execute churchwide communications, in-house and out-of-house, and all marketing intiatives. Responsibilities Duties: Create and implement communication and marketing strategy documents for Oaks Church ministries to be approved by Direct Report Creates and manages communication and marketing tasks through Asana and other management systems Responsible for upkeep social media campaigns, email marketing & text campaigns, online hosting for guests during Sunday services and special events broadcasts Responsible for ordering all printed materials for Oaks Church and it’s events Initiates conversations between Communications and various Oaks Church ministries to understand event/dept. needs or relay information Assists in addressing weekly Creative Review needs and top priorities with CommsCreative team, working in tandem with Creative Project Manager to ensure deadlines are met Ensures all in and out-of-house content is accurate and up-to-date Upkeeps all on-property signage and needed changes Assists in upkeeping the same brand identity, brand language and timely communication within our team, churchwide and online Oversees scheduling Sunday hosting moments or Video announcements: Hosts, topics to be discussed, videos to include Manages contracts and payments between CC and marketing and/or print vendors Supervisory Responsibilities : Oversees effective workflow of communications staff. Trains and oversees website/app/online-hosting dream team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required Web development experience required Project Management experience required Must be high executionary Must be highly organized and detail oriented Adobe Suite experience required Must be flexible and a team-player Must communicate well with others General Expectations Commitment to continual growth in personal spiritual life and relationship with Christ Attend Tuesday Staff Prayer Meetings, All Staff Meetings, “All Hands On Deck” Events “Serve One and Attend One” at weekly Oaks Church Sunday services. Support the vision, values and ministry of Oaks Church through tithing, serving, etc. Proactive thinking and willing to learn and train others Model a Godly life for volunteers Be teachable with a humble and submissive attitude Maintain all information confidential (about staff, projects, property, members, etc.)
