Job Function - General:

* Maintains a perpetual inventory of material, equipment, supplies and other general stock items.
* Maintains database, performs physical count of inventory and reconciles actual stock count to office records or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, production records or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory levels.
* Picks orders for issuing materials to production and service departments.
* Assists, as needed, with other warehouse shipping and receiving duties.
* Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count.
* Investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
* Prepares reports, such as inventory balance, and shortages.
* Receives, unpacks and delivers goods.
* Re-stocks items as necessary.
* Labels shelves.
* Liaises with purchasing agents and prepares deliveries.
* May perform other routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones and assisting customers.
* At higher job levels provides leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group and may occasionally act as a "lead" or first level supervisor
* Daily SAP and Microsoft Office use

The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.

Limit of Authorization/Authority:

Education and Professional Knowledge:

High school diploma/G.E.D required, Completion of Sophomore or higher level at an accredited college

or university, GPA of 3.0 or higher.


02-04 years related experience required.

Certification: NIA

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

Requires working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization. Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts. Follows established procedures and guidelines.

Supervision Given and Received:

Works under general supervision. May periodically assist in orienting, training, assigning and/or reviewing

the work of other peers.

Problem Solving:

May require some limited judgement in resolving problems.


Contacts are primarily with department supervisors, leads, subordinates, and peers. Frequent contact with

external contractors/vendors.
