Job Function - General:
* Maintains a perpetual inventory of material, equipment, supplies
and other general stock items.
* Maintains database, performs physical count of inventory and
reconciles actual stock count to office records or computes figures
from records, such as sales orders, production records or purchase
invoices to obtain current inventory levels.
* Picks orders for issuing materials to production and service
* Assists, as needed, with other warehouse shipping and receiving
* Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock
and adjusts errors in computation or count.
* Investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
* Prepares reports, such as inventory balance, and shortages.
* Receives, unpacks and delivers goods.
* Re-stocks items as necessary.
* Labels shelves.
* Liaises with purchasing agents and prepares deliveries.
* May perform other routine clerical duties, including data entry,
answering telephones and assisting customers.
* At higher job levels provides leadership, coaching and/or
mentoring to a subordinate group and may occasionally act as a
"lead" or first level supervisor
* Daily SAP and Microsoft Office use
