Job Description:

Inventory Manager Objective: Lead and work with a 20+ employee, 1-shift operation remanufacturing lights for the Collision and Auto Repair Markets. Key success factors for the Inventory Manager will be improving process efficiency, ensuring safety, driving quality, and meeting environmental standards, all while successfully meeting our customers delivery expectations. Collaborate with team members and management to build strategies, manage reporting, set goals, and increase the overall output, while maintaining a positive employee culture.Skills:Strong leadership and interpersonal skillsAbility to coach, train, and motivate employeesOrganizational skillsProblem solving/critical thinkingKnowledgeable in OSHA requirements and standardsResponsibilities:Establish a high performance, continuous improvement culture by being the exampleLead daily operations to include safety, production, materials, maintenance, and qualityCreating/maintaining production schedules and address key concerns impacting productionComply with safety standards and requirements to ensure a safe and hazard free environment, along with assisting in environmental reportingMeeting and enforcing quality control, inventory accuracy, and daily production standardsEnsure timely order commitment to meet customer delivery expectationAssist in developing OJT training programsExperience:At least 3 years, with 5 years preferred, inventory management experience in a fast paced, high-performing, industrial environment.Experience with Pinnacle or similar automotive dismantling software4-year bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experienceExperience with KPI's, Lean, Continuous improvement and EHS principles.Knowledge/ability to develop Standard Operating Procedures, and drive discipline to adhere to.
