PROCUREMENT ANALYST

CARROLLTON, TEXAS

DIRECT HIRE

$70,000 per year

Summary

Imprimis Group has partnered with a fast, growing manufacturer in Dallas, Texas. The Procurement Analyst will be a significant contributor to the overall improvement in supply chain efficiency and effectiveness for the company. In this role, you will be providing transactional and analytical support to improve Procurement processes, financial budgets, vendor relationship management, vendor performance, and decision making. You will work with the Director of Procurement, to build and execute key activities supporting the Procurement strategy. This includes but is not limited to purchasing, reporting, analysis, score carding, and recommendations to reduce costs or optimize processes. This position has the primary responsibility for supporting Procurement through vendor management and data analysis.

Pay Type: Salary, Exempt

Status: Full Time

Reports to: Procurement Department Manager / Director

Work Location: Onsite, Carrollton Texas

Expected Schedule: Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm with possible deviations as needed

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyze and pull data from various sources, including ERP system to determine trends, outliers in data, process optimization, and support decision making.
• Support RFP bidding process.
• Pull purchase order and vendor performance data to support the vendor scorecard process and data requirements.
• Make recommendations on system enhancements, functionality, and reporting needs.
• Research and pull market data for specific packaging or ingredient categories to support the Procurement manager.
• Help identify new potential supply sources and origins within market.
• Procurement project or process improvement.
• Document retrieval for Procurement new vendor set up.
• Ability to provide project support such as new item launches, Procurement representation as needed, and master data updates in system.
• Creation/documentation of Standard Operating Procedures and Procurement policies.
• May management some small tail spend.
• Other relevant tasks assigned by supervisor.
