team through our employee recognition programs Job Description:About the Role:The Progressive Maintenance (PM) Specialist supports the progressive maintenance pillar.
The PM Specialist is responsible for activities related to Maintenance Planning & Scheduling (MP&S), Breakdown Elimination (BDE), Storeroom, Planned Maintenance Optimization and Autonomous Maintenance (AM) support.
You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:Supports the implementation and sustainment of the PM Pillar daily management systems (DMS) for the siteConducts maintenance training on PM processes including Breakdown Elimination (BDE), Maintenance Planning & Scheduling (MP&S) and Defect Handling (DH)Follows up with operators to ensure that defects are handled properlyEnsures PM processes are executed and sustained by tracking PM metricsPerforms PM Audits as requiredParticipates in the DDS - Daily Direction Setting meetings at shift and line level.Engages in plant Continuous Improvement efforts including participation with Process Improvement TeamsSupport technicians in identifying and solving problems that cause breakdownsMaintains cooperative relationships with coworkers and management by communicating necessary information, responding to requests, building reports, and participating in problem solving methodsRegularly analyzes appropriate metrics (Breakdowns, Storeroom Cycle Accuracy, Work Order Schedule Compliance) to govern system healthAbout You:You'll fit right in if you have:Knowledge of and/or experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and electrical drive/control systems relating to production and facilities equipment maintenance preferred.Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance programs preferred.Having an understanding or be willing to learn Lean manufacturing principles. Understands the principles of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Experience with SAP preferred.
Ability to utilize shop floor data collection systems.
