Maintenance Technician I - 18813*Kingston, OK - Maintenance - Part Time 38*_Posted 0 weeks ago_*Apply**Save*DescriptionWe are currently looking for a Part Time 38 Maintenance Technician I to join our team located at Texoma Casino.*Summary:*Maintains building environment and grounds by maintaining building, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment as well as grounds keeping and repair services.*Responsibilities:** Secures building and occupants by maintenance of fire alarm protection* Maintains accurate and timely processing of all electrical safety checks, preventive and corrective work orders, contracts and other applicable documentation* Paints interior and exterior walls, trim, doors, fixtures and signs as needed* Maintains building climate by trouble-shooting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment* Maintains building accessibility by removing ice and snow from walkways and parking lot* Mows the lawn and cleans surrounding landscapes* Maintains facilities plumbing including fixtures and sprinklers* Hauls files and boxes, moves furniture, sets up furnishings, prepare rooms for meetings, assemble public announcement and audio visual equipment following manufacturers operating and care guidelines, and repairs and installs replacement parts to assure equipment is in working order when needed* Identifies and corrects hazardous working conditions* Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types* Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner* Greets and engages with a smile* Determines needs, seeks positive experience and outcomes* Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities* Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types* Maintains general upkeep of work area and maintains a safe environment* Maintains and promotes professionalism* Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics* Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards* Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.* Performs all other duties as assigned*Competencies:*Essential:* Able to follow instructions, both written and oral* Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements* Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability* Able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of Chickasaw Nation, departmental, divisional and all other rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines* Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management*Skills:*Essential:* Basic Computer skills* Work Order Management Application* Knowledge, skill and ability to operate hand implements*Experience:*Essential:* No prior experience required*Education:*Essential:* High School, GED or Equivalent*Credentials:*Essential:* Pass general background check* Standard Driver's License* Pass gaming background check* Gaming license or permit as required by assigned position*Working Conditions:*Essential:* May work where cigarette smoking occurs* Mix of office/non-office settings* Outside, all weather conditions* Over head - ladders, platforms, etc.* Workshop/equipment yard* Computers, printers, phones* Hand-held radios* Hand tools* Power tools* Potential exposure to blue and or white light* Potential exposure to cleaning fluids and solvents* Potential exposure to dust and mold* Slippery surfaces* Interacts with clinical, support, technical, professional or management staff in a variety of settings and situations* Frequently bend, kneel, stoop, push, reach* Sometimes climb ladders* Sometimes climb stairs* May be required to crawl* Hand-eye coordination, reach and grasp* Operate hand tools* Manual dexterity* Operate mechanic tools* Operate power tools* Sometimes work at heights* Frequently lift and or carry up to 50 lbs* Moderately strenuous work* Sitting up to 75% of shift* Sometimes work in small or cramped areas* Standing up to 75% of shift* Visual acuity for detail, distance, color, depth perception* Walking up to 75% of shift* Car, van, light truck* Scissor lift* Pass pre-employment drug test#INDWork Location: In personby Jobble
